WikiLeaks: Publishing Classified Documents.

The website, wikileaks.com, has been releasing classified documents for the past couple years, these documents include ones that relate to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. On November 28, 2010, the site started to release millions of articles that showed how the U.S. kept tabs on its allies and the UN. Also how the American officials had personally described foreign leaders, which wasn't right at all. Months before this the website had let out that the government was 'turing a blind eye' on reports or abuse from hundreds of people. Wikileaks had published and released over 77,000 documents on the U.S. military and intelligence documents, which read many details on the war in Afghanistan that many people did not know. These articles where released on July 25, 2010. This website has been called 'the largest leak in American military history since the Pentagon Papers in 1971'. Since then the government has been trying really hard to shut the website down for good, but no luck.
In my opinion, I approve of the website. These things that they are currently releasing should have never been kept from people. These 'secrets' should have been released a long time ago.

Politics: McCain Questions Pentagon on Repeal of Gay Ban.

Article by Elisabeth Bumiller
Published on: December 2

The United States Senator, John McCain, also an Arizona Republican and Vietnam-era hero, had looked over a law that gay men and women were not allowed to serve in the armed force. He had tryed to change the "don't ask, don't tell", a 17-year-old law, and have gay men and women freely fight in the army. This statment was in concern to this topic, " I remain concerned", John McCain said, " I have in the past, and as demonstrated in this study, that the closer we get to service members in combat, the more we encounter concerns about whether ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ should be repealed. These views should not be considered lightly, especially considering how much combat our forces face.”. John McCain had fought for this law to become removed, as in result, which has not been release, i hope it gets passed.

Bowling Of Columbine!

1) What is Michael Moores thesis in Bowling in Columbine?
Some of Michael's conclusions are very tenuous, such as a shot of a six-year-old shooting a gun. the reason for the name is becuase the students that were doing the massacre only went to blowing class before anything happened.

2) How does he support this thesis? (write your own words) and ideas + convertions.
he supports it by putting amazing images ang conclusions. Also by capturing real issues, like the school shooting, its something you will keep in your memory after you watch it. Though there is a bit humor, to keep the film balanced. He made sure to keep away from a preaching side of a film.

I Compared You!

Today, I am here to compare the relationship
between the corporations of
McDonalds and Disney!

The relatioship ship between these two huge corporations is very hash, it's not much of a friendly relationship. The reason for this relationship to have such a down fall as they did was because of Walt Disney, he had once tryed to scam Ray Kroc in a money situation.

What Is "Cool"?

  Definition of Cool-
It may be what people are wearing, what genre of music people are listening to.
When someone wears something, like a brand, you might see more people
wearing that brand a couple days later because of the person that
wore that before. That also goes for the different music, you
will hear someone listening to music one day and the next
it will be one your playlist on your i-pod.
This changes from day to
day, or week to week.

Music:
Miley Cyrus
Cloths:
Mexx

Example to Support my Definition:
I've seen people wearing these wonderful, dressy clothing. I found the store and
now thats where i shop because its what i think is cool. I guess to
some people it wouldn't be, but that's how it goes one
day something is cool and the next its not.
