The United States Senator, John McCain, also an Arizona Republican and Vietnam-era hero, had looked over a law that gay men and women were not allowed to serve in the armed force. He had tryed to change the "don't ask, don't tell", a 17-year-old law, and have gay men and women freely fight in the army. This statment was in concern to this topic, " I remain concerned", John McCain said, " I have in the past, and as demonstrated in this study, that the closer we get to service members in combat, the more we encounter concerns about whether ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ should be repealed. These views should not be considered lightly, especially considering how much combat our forces face.”. John McCain had fought for this law to become removed, as in result, which has not been release, i hope it gets passed.

  1. There is a great 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' episode about this. You would love it. I looked for the link, but it is only available on 'the comedy network' in Canada, and their search options leave something to be desired.
